On behalf of Ubuntu Budgie, we'd like to re-qualify for LTS status for 3
years of the 26.04 stable cycle. Our team is
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntubudgie-dev
and I am the primary contact with Mauro Gaspari as backup.

We have successfully managed the LTS status for 18.04, 20.04, 22.04
and ongoing for 24.04;
we have participated successfully for all interim/standard releases.
We believe the current team can additionally manage the LTS period for
26.04 for 3 years.

Our primary support arrangements are through where our community
engages the team.

1. issues raised via our discourse site discourse.ubuntubudgie.org,
2. formal bug reports via launchpad https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntubudgie
3. formal bug reports via our github projects https://github.com/ubuntubudgie
4. formal bug reports via our key packages
5. formal bug reports via our upstream
https://github.com/buddiesofbudgie/budgie-desktop

These are our expected key packages for the 26.04 cycle
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-desktop
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-control-center
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-extras
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/labwc
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/arc-theme
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-backgrounds
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-desktop-environment
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-desktop-view
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-indicator-applet
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-artwork
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm-settings
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/slick-greeter

Please do note - we will be moving to wayland for the 26.04 cycle and
three further key packages will be part of our support arrangements
once they have been sponsored either by Debian or Ubuntu -
crystal-dock, budgie-daemon-v2, budgie-display-configurator. Upstream
is expected to tag our wayland release packages by COP December.

Ubuntu Budgie is formally part of the upstream budgie project called
buddiesofbudgie https://github.com/buddiesofbudgie

Our aim is to upstream any fixes. The vast majority of issues we have made
during the 20.04 through to 24.04 LTS periods have been git cherry-picks from
the latest development release.

The team consists of eleven people https://ubuntubudgie.org/team/ four
of which are primarily developers with various roles to resolve issues
and test.

We primarily maintain the key packages via Debian with the exception
of the version of budgie-desktop-environment which is maintained in
ubuntu N.B. Debian we maintain the same named package but is tailored
for Debian.

I'm the DM for the packages. A couple of team members help package
updates with myself validating before pushing.
I also have packageset rights for Ubuntu Budgie. The aim we have is
to have at least one further team member to gain individual rights for
packages they are most familiar with. We will assess later when it's
appropriate to request an expansion of packageset rights at a later
date.

We have adhered to the expectations for flavours
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RecognizedFlavors and can confirm we have
always contributed actively to all phases including beta, RC and
release.

We try to always have at least two team members contactable via matrix -
#ubuntu-release & #ubuntu-flavors.
