But I would advocate that if an organisation has deliberately opted not to allow their output to be available to certain groups or places, then there must be a reason for the ban, most often I would think, copyright.
In the case of the BBC, I am very strongly in favour of this ban to be honest because we have to pay a license fee; why should others be able to get in through the back door so to speak?
