Hello Dane & all Sorry for the delayed response. Do you happen to know of a distributor within the UK? I know that's asking a lot but this is actually very helpful. If I can find out where to go I will most definitely give this a serious look as opposed to the Trekker Breeze which, by the sounds of things, doesn't have the same functionality.

Perhaps I'm wrong but that to me is the closest you'll get to a talking cane. I've heard of "Talking Cane" projects but then you have a huge problem with a cane and that's sheer brute force, it gets bashed on the footpath for example as part of its use so I should think protecting circuitry within would be a problem.
