Subject line says it all. Dad was able to come down yesterday and we assembled it though the manufacturer Delrin didn't include a mast, so we mounted the station on the back fence for the time being whilst I go hunting for one.
I'm able to read the measurements the station puts out though I'm still working out how you publish them but reading the station was the most important thing. I'm using the Cumulus software to do the job though the software that came with my station - Weather Easy - is moderately accessible, Cumulus does far more of course. As to whether I'd buy one of these again? Had I known exactly what I was getting then no, I'd probably save my money and look around for something else, the station looks like something out of a cereal packet and construction takes a fair amount of work, dad worked on it for an hour and a half. Having said that however the station does exactly what it claims it does so really I don't have anything to complain about given that I can track its every measurement, the question is just how long it will last? Never mind, plenty of time to research other options and as I say, its working. ======================================= The Techno-Chat E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit for forum's dedicated web pages located at http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/techno-chat You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Techno-Chat group at either of the following websites: http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/techno-chat/index.html Or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> you may also subscribe to this list via RSS.
