Hello, I am planning to replace my wireless router with a new model which supports attachment to the router of a USB hard disk or presumably of a USB memory stick. I would like to use this to share files such as audio books, podcasts, and TV programs between my iMac and my wife's Windows computer and perhaps also my iPhone and my wife's Android phone. At present I download the above material onto my iMac and then put it on a USB memory stick which I pass onto my wife. Does anyone have experience of sharing files between iMac and Windows and iPhone and Android in this way? Note that all these devices are on the same wireless network. Many thanks for any advice.
