Yeah I plan on having an xlr mic for me only and what ever the podium mic uses probably xlr I dunno. as it is a tiny stick thing attached to a podium. but I have a similar set up at home or I did until my board died. I had a xlr plug going out of the board and in to my computer and there was no hum at all but all of my mics i use for speaking and singing are only xlr. Again I'll have to see what the hotel has and I have about 3 weeks to write this proposal up. Im hoping again they can find a way to rout my own hand held mic in to the computer itself via a button or to the snake my computer is connected to. and only have that mic go to my sound card.
