Hi everybody If I was to implement topics for this list, would anybody be interested? Don't worry, it's nothing complicated. It is possible for me to assign a number of topics and for subscribers to visit the list's website and define certain topics that interest them specifically. For example, if I assign the name "iOS" to a topic,, "Windows", "Android", "Sound Forge" etc. etc. to a topic, users would then only see messages which contain those topics in the body or subject of the message, if another topic exists. So, if you only use Windows, or you are not interested in Windows, it's possible to filter out stuff that you don't want to see. Of course, it would require a little discipline on the part of message authors, so at this point it is only experimental. If none of the defined topics exist in the message, everybody would see it.
Would anybody be interested in this facility? Please respond privately to the list support address, <[email protected]> if you have comments or questions. Thank you.
