Hi all

I am happy to be able to report that I've now managed to restore the
accessibility features of my talking digital recorder. I had to download the
software and the accessibility components from their servers and then do the
update/restore process manually. It's a two-step process for which you'd need
visual assistance if you find yourself in the situation I was in. What
happened was that the unit downloaded firmware over the air, and upgraded the
box without accessibility components. So, I had to go and get both the
software items from the Internet and then restore them from a thumb drive.

I'll get that podcast done today all being well, now that I have the unit up
and running again.

If anybody would like a copy of the firmware files for reference, just ask.

Gordon
