Hi all I debated which group to post this too, but I do know that this one has a larger membership than our other group, "Windows-Access", which is a sister-group to "Mac-Access". Before I get into the subject of this post, if you'd like to join "Windows-Access", feel free. The current address of the group's list server is: <[email protected]>
This will change shortly, but all members will be automatically ported across when it does. Anyway, to the point. Has anybody hand any success with the Windows version of "Reaper"? I do seem to remember some discussion of this project a while back, but I honestly cannot recall whether that was the Mac OS X version or the Windows version. I have also just bought us a lifetime license for "GoldWave". I've heard good reports regarding that particular editor so it will have to serve until we manage to get our missing Sound Forge 10 Professional serial number from Sony. Contacting Sony has proved to be impossible so far. Their so-called customer service is a joke! When you go to their contact links, all you get is pointed to FAQ documents and the contact link at the bottom of that page just takes you to another page where FAQs are provided. There doesn't seem to be any method of contacting a real person at all. So, although I've only briefly looked at GoldWave, it does seem to be accessible.
