How much is the program?
I've conidered switching to this but in earlier versions it wasn't
accessible.
Where can I get it from? I'm assuming this is also what use to be caled ots
dj pro?
Shoot me a web sight for it. For instance can I be playing a song, then
segway to another?

Sincerest Regards,

Jed

Hi Geoff

I am undergoing a crash refresher course in how it works, but I know most of
it. Yes, it works with MP3 files just fine. I personally don't use them
because OTS albums are so much more efficient and easy to manage when you
have a large music library. It works on categories for the most part. You
can define categories for different types of music and audio content, and
even video if your license variant permits it. It is capable of
broadcasting movies if you have the OTS AV TV license. It is accessible now
much more than it used to be actually. They have added a lot of hot keys
which never used to be there and that is a great thing. They are taking
notice of accessibility and they seem to have gone out of their way to make
their software accessible. That is something we need to encourage.

OTS is used professionally by quite a lot of radio stations around the
world, and it has an absolutely unbelievable audio dynamics processor built
in. It can be optimised for various environments. For instance, it has a
"Lounge" preset, an "Office" preset, a "Radio" preset which is optimised for
broadcasting and you can tweak or create your own presets using the sliders
to adjust various aspects of the audio spectrum.

Anyway, I haven't even scratched the surface. It handles to-the-second
scheduling so that you can have it switch on the line input, for instance,
if you need to take a news feed at the top of the hour. The only thing it
currently does not do which, I have to admit, is one area where Station
Studio wins hands down is voice tracking. It would be really nice if they
could do something like that.

But I will stick with it, as it's got a lot going for it.

Hey Gordon,

Have you played with this ots program?
Tell me about it, interested in trying it, does it run mp3 files?
How accessible is it with window-eyes? If you can email me off list that
would be great.

Thanks,
Jed

I looked at their pages and to be honest, I find their pricing a little too
high to justify even mentioning buying them to Lynne. I'm sure we can do
the same thing with other packages, as long as I can get either OTS AV DJ
Pro Classic or else DJay for Mac. I just installed SAM broadcaster actually
but I'm not sure whether that will work either. Shame, because it looks
promising.

lol. actually I just use spl studio, not creator. I create my playlists with
in studio but still it works. I hope someone can help solve your DJ issue
you are having with your software.
