I have no idea what you mean by "Pull" live Internet streams.  Do you mean 
"Record" live Internet streams by any chance?

If so, then that isn't the function of SPL, not in the primary instance at 
least. The function of SPL is to "Create" playlists suitable for 
broadcasting/webcasting or other presentations of organised audio and, o on 
occasions, video content.

So if you'd care to explain more accurately what you mean, I can maybe answer 
the question.
