Hi Chris I disagree strongly with your last point. Why? Primarily because, as I pointed out to Desi just now, you can set your mail client to download only the headers of a message, rather than the entire message body. If you get a hundred messages and only want to read 2 or 3 of them, all you do then is delete the rest and when you hit enter on the ones you want to read, they are downloaded and displayed to you. That can be a huge time saver if your email usage is heavy irrespective of the number of devices.
