Hi all
I believe there are a couple of BrailleNote users on list, so I
thought I'd share this inforpation with you.
If anybody is trying to use an Email server which is declining
their attempts to log into the server with an error like:
5.5.2 Error connecting to SMTP
serverin Need Fuly Qualified Hostname
there is a wa'y around this problem and it is actually far
simpler than the registry tweak which I prepiously used on the
Apex.
I won't go into a lot of detail right now, but if anybody would
like this information, I'll be happy to provide it.
I'm writing now on my own BrailleNote Apex, and it's really
nice sometimes to be able to do that without having to have a
computer on hand. Of course, there's always the iPhone or the
iPad and younges, there is a virtual Braille keyboard available
for that devide as well. But I personally much prefer to have a
real keyboard and I find I can produce Braille output far more
effectively this way.
