I'm lead to believe that a new Captain GPS device is available, does
anyone know anything about it?
Apparently the new device is considerably larger than the old Captain
Plus but has everything built-in, the speaker and so on, has a much
longer lasting battery etc.
I'd be most tempted to buy this new Captain Model if indeed it does
exist, I use a Captain Plus here and I personally think that the Captain
Plus is the best stand-alone GPS solution available - well the best I've
used at any rate -.
Yes, I had problems with the system at first but these were fixed in
subsequent updates for the software/firmware over the last year.
No, perhaps the Captain Plus GPS doesn't have the sensitivity of an
iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy S4 when it comes to finding satelites but its
not too bad, I'm lead to understand that the hardware is improved upon
in the new model.
