Hi! A load of these arrived a few hours ago along with a special charger so I'll be testing these out over the weekend to find out the strong and weak points of the batteries.
I do know that Nickel Zinc batteries do have the following characteristics which give them a leap forward over standard HCD and NHD batteries. Nickel Zinc batteries are rated at 1.6 volts and are 30% lighter than NCD and NH battery types. I've only seen sizes AA and AAA Nickel zinc batteries so far and the AA size I ordered is 2.5AH capacity. I'm not sure how long these batteries take to charge so I'm going to have to use a light detector on the charger itself to determine when the green light turns on.
