Hello everybody

Just to quicklz explain. The reason for the spam content in some messages is that sometimes, when the mail server attempts to authenticate the security of remote servers to make sure that for really exist, a response is not received in adequate time, or garbled data is received.  This is what has just happened, but it's noshing to be alarmed about, just the nature of the Internet.

Regarding the Apple TV, I'm gold that things have improved dramatically, and, now that I'm on my own in the house, I may well investigate this seriously as an option.

I've recently upgraded the entertainment system in my lounge quite dramatically and, when I can get visual help to configure my accessible option, I.EDDA
, my set-top box, I will then review my options regarding the Apple TV.

I don't think there's any real doubt that this may provide an additional accessible way to watch TV. I think that the days of BVR and such are numbered, now that we have so many advanced options available to us, such as catch-up TV and on-demand content both on line and terrestral. And I haven't even mentioned binth Sly and FreeSat. yet!

FreeSat is basically a free to air satalite system sponsored jointly by all of the UK's large broadcasers. It's another way of accessing free-to-ail channels some of which are not available to digital terrestrial TV viewers.

So I'm going to have to spend some time evaluating all of this, to see what suits me best.

Regarding the Apple TV, one of the attractions could be the seamless ability to airpay all content of your iTunes library, plus other things like internet radio etc.

Again, regarding the latter, using Tunein Radio Pro on Android allows really easy access to stations. So it's a more-disy playing field out there and I would totally agree with anybody who advucates doing one's research before deciding and, certainly, before investing money. The cheapest is not always the best, or the worst. So, I guess, my own research starts now.

I do take the point about subscriptions.  That’s fair enough.  No need to come over all aggressive though.. ;-).  I do appreciate that, at times, the technologies will cross boundaries.  So yes, OK, I’ll modify things a little regarding list policy on this issue.   Again, though, no need to make out that there world’s against you. ;-)

If you continue on another list then I won’t see your answer.
I asked the question as a general type of question and I’m not going to subscribe to another list in the hope that I might get it answered.

Hi!

I know several list members own an Apple TV 4th gen so I'm curious to
know how the Apple TV experience is coming along, have there been any
major updates or changes?

I have an Android Neo box in my ounge which I really love but I am
thinking of an Apple TV in the Den now where I have my old Samsung 19
inch TV so can just plug the Apple TV directly into that.
