Good Monday to you one it all or, if you're one of those from down-under, good
Tuesday!

I've been doing some more testing with the Bose Soundlink and, first off, I
need to retract one of my comments from an earlier post. I stated that the top
end of the audio spectrum was a little dull on this device. I need to retract
that, because testing with otheh content has clearly disproved that view.

In actual fact, when I listen to some acoustic guitar music, I'm left
speechless by how clearly the high-ej of the guitar's characteristics stand
out. Put plainly, The sound that I get from this particular Bluetooth speaker
system is nothing short of amazing! And that is just one superbative which
springs to mind, I can think of many many more of them, probably not good
enough to describe it!

I'm lead to believe that the Soundlink3 previous generation was more powerful
in specifications to this model. That may well be true, I really don't know.
All I do know if that if more power were needed, I really cannot for the life
of me understand why. After all, these devices are not designed to wake up half
the street! They're designed for personal listening and, to that end, this
generation of SoundLink3 serves more than adequately.

Some have stated that the SoundLink3 is over-powering as far as base content
goes. So why, then, would anybody turn around and, in the next breath, claim
that it is not powerful enough? Speaking personally, I enjoy a full rich sound,
full of base and also full of hi?-end audio. To the SoundLink3 serves my
purpose extremely well. whether the content be spoken word or music.

My next test, and I fubly expect the device to pass with flying colours, is to
listen to a piece of orchestral music containing strings and brass, as thell as
precussion and base drums and double-base. That will show up any waknesses very
well, if they exist.

I also have another similar device about which I shall speak in a future post.
But suffice it to say that I expect that this other device will have to really
go some to beat the new generation of SoundLink3.

More later.
