I got the phone this Afternoon and I'm still tweaking hthings to the way I want them.

I've noted some changes which I think people should be aware of when upgrading from an earlyer Samsung Galaxy to a S8 phone.

The first and obvious change is the disappearance of the physical phone button though the home button is still in the middle on the bottom edge of the screen and Voice Assist announces it as such when you slide your finger over it, "Home".

Double-tapping the "Home" button activates it.

So the replacement of a physical "Home" button means that other changes have happened.

For example, to toggle Voice Assist on and off now one holds down the volume up and power keys.

To answer incoming calls with a physical button one can use the volume up key.

The standard "Recent Apps" and "Back" capacitive buttons are still in their standard positions - either side of the home button rspectively - however either one needs to be double-tapped to activate.

The S8 is a wonderful little powerhouse and I'm sure users will begin to appreciate the power of this phone when they start setting and tweaking the device to their liking.

If you're into Music then you're really going to love the supplied AKG earbuds, the best I've heard thus far supplied with a phone and Samsung phones have the DAC's etc to get the very best from your cans audio wise.

That's all for now.
