Hi Debbie

Turns out you were correct here, although I only just twigged when I saw
Roger’s message earlier today. I’m using UEB for input and output, and the
thing that through me here Debbie is, when I’m in some applications and using
JAWS, dots 4+7 produce the Asterisk symbol. From memory, the Asterisk symbol
used to be correct using dots 4+7 before I switched to UEB universally. Be that
as it may, the whole computer code seems to have changed somewhere because
consistently, across my Braille note takers, the “@“ symbol is entered
differently.

Debbie, I believe you own, or have access to, a number of these devices, do you
not? If so, try it on the Touch with UEB selected as your default output and
let me know what happens, if that isn’t too much to ask?

The same is true of the BrailleSense U2 actually, and also the old Apex.

My compliments and kindest regards
