Not quite what I meant. There is am smart stand adapter available for the Note8 
which turns it into a desktop-compatible device. That device has onboard 512GB 
of storage as I understand it.

I do agree with what you say about the Samsung U-turn, and I remember having 
this conversation with you when the S6 first hit the streets. You then said 
that it wasn’t an issue, because the phone had plenty of connectivity to other 
equipment. That is still the case with the S8 and Note8 and, in fact, even more 
so with the addition of the DeX8 adapter.
