For me the world of Thunderbolt, USB and USB C is a fascinating one and is even more so now that I’ve purchased a MacBook Air, an iMac and will soon purchase a MacBook Pro. I have quite a bit of thunderbolt hardware already which will suit the MacBook Air just fine though the hardware - a Belkin Thunderbolt Dock - was designed for the original standard of Thunderbolt so I’ll be looking to see if Belkin has an updated version that will handle Thunderbolt II - the type the MacBook Air offers - and may even buy a Thunderbolt III dock in the future when I purchase the MacBook Pro but as you’ll see in this article there are literally hundreds upon hundreds of options and configurations to choose from.
