Looks like this is the answer (I have seen this quite a few times): Cause: Possible cause is capacitor at location 2352 on the CDR Power Supply Board has vented. Check capacitor and if vented proceed with cure.
Cure: Replace capacitor and then place a 1.2k ohm 1/4 watt resistor in parallel with the capacitor. Use part number 4835 116 57396 for the resistor. The capacitor is a 220mfd/10V, Philips part# 483512447099.
