First of all ; look for two diodes that are stacked on each other as damper diode on the HOTransistor Collector. The ground end one is the 'pincushion damper diode' with a capacitor across it and make sure that it is not shorted and if shorted diode , replace it with original RCA ( subs won't hack it ) as well the capacitor. Then trace the path from cathode of diode through a coil which will lead you to a transistor and make sure it is not shorted. Pincushion bowed in is a sure fire sign that the pincushion circuit is shorted or clamped to ground. Methinks I have horrible thought - maybe Jackleg what worked on it jumped the pincushion out - horrors ! Best:: Eugene
