Tom, heres same problem different model, but as commom a problem as mode switches are, worth looking into...... GL "joe"
RCA VR639HF cleaned the mode switch and ran the unit for two days and hasn't acted up. "the mode switch in this model is involved in signaling the processor to start the drum rotation." This unit came in with no cylinder rotation. After a rew attempts and flexing the ribbon connector on the motor it worked. While trying to localize the bad connection I can not get it to act up again and the cylinder rotates every time.
