I don't normally buy them either, Wayne. This one was just laying around collecting dust,...and I wanted to use it on an RCA CTC146 chassis, cause the front buttons were broken on the TV, and they can't be repaired or replaced, without replacing the front cabinet,....which is NLA,...and is certainly not worth spending time and $$$ on it. BTW;....this particular 19 inch RCA, didn't have a front window cut for the IR signal to enter through the front of the cabinet. ( but,..IT DOES NOW !! ). The customer said he had THREE remotes, but NONE of them would work on his set. I spent too much time trying to program a remote, and the signal wasn't even getting through to the remote sensor. Go figure,...................;-(
