Been using a 150 VAC MOV ala SK something from Tritronics and they do work fine ! I had a Sony come back to me with the power supply blasted again and I added that across the AC Line after the fuse and it did not come back. Power lines were a wee bit aged where the set was. Yup , used all Sony originals. I get the biggest disc type that there is. It sure has saved me from recalls and I stuff that in every SONY that has/had a power supply problem. HTH Best: Eugene
