Jeff, Ala Cleo, I pull out my scratched water glass and stare into the empty depths trying to come up with an answer. I "see" possibly a broken trace to the vert at the solder pad of the IC, or possibly a bad crimp connection to the yokeconnector, assuming you used a quality replacement for the vert ic. "Fraid thats all I can think of. You should also be able to run that chassis with the eeprom totally removed, as PCE only stores customer preference data in the IC on that model.
