It works good for me. that way around here, also, Jeff. It depends on your area,...the size of the towns, the population factor,...your good reputation (that you built up over the years),...etc. I had this kind of a reputation in a 6 county area once. Problem is my OLD customer base is all dying off, and I have to be a little more careful with some of the younger generations around here. Have to handle some of these new people with "Kid's gloves". I wouldn't even try to run my business in the same manner, if I was working out of a big metropoliton area, where you have a lot of crime, and where you have to have bars on your windows, and where EVERY customer that comes in your door is a stranger to you. Just can't compare oranges to apples,....I understand exactly what Joe is saying. Works OK for some of us,...just not ALL of us.
