Joe, If he didn't have time, I'm not sure why he responded at all. Some people will respond if you flash money in front of them. Others will "take" the time with other techs they have known for quite a while. Perhaps he would have mailed it to you if you offered to pay for postage and promised to mail it back. I caution though, there have been many techs receive favors from others and not so much as confirm and thank the person for their assistance..let alone return the material. For someone to mail a schematic, or take the time to copy, fax, etc...they at least deserve a thank and maybe even a couple of bucks. Reputations are earned on these lists and takes time. Just some words of wisdom from the not so wise. jUST A NOTE.... I wrote in with a problem I was having with a Zenith (99 model) and was told (by the respondent) he didn't have time to make a copy of the schematics. The print was NLA, so I passed it on to the customer and lost the repair on that one. So much for "helping" each other.? Joe

Philips HDTV mod 43PP920217 chas DPTV305 Symptom: Dead set/chirping condition Problem: 7045 CONV AMP IC on LSB panel STK392-120 Part #932212344682 (Replaced both 7045&7044). Problem isolation: Removed plug 1516 from main power supply/deflection board. Powered set back up and picture tubes then lit up with no chirping. Plugged 1516 back in place and when desoldering pins 1&8 (-35&+35v) set came on, no more chirping. Isolated problem to 7045.
