I can't find the 3AG plug ( I assume on the 9-1047-1). Am I goin' nuts? I'd borrow the print, but if I can't find the 3AG plug, it really
wouldn't do much good. If you you have any advice, I'll take it!
Thanks,
Joe

LeRoy, Once again, thanks for some help to put this dog out of its' misery. I'll go back in the shop tomorrow with some gin.....I mean coffee and sit back and see if Sencore can give me a small portion of my $ back. (sound familiar?) Thanks again. Jeff is right, I guess. I'll break down and buy the tech repair cd tomorrow. Justy being on here and meeting the friends I have (present company included) has been well worth buying a CD. Good Luck, Joe

Joe, First,....change the "5" in the model number to an "S". Now,... to determine which module is bad, first check pin 3 of plug 3AG for between 3-16 volts. Then check pin 5 of plug 3AG for a 5 volt p-p signal, or 4.3 VAC. Check across RX3407 for 130 volts. If any of these voltages are missing, replace HV board 9-1047-01 (or repair board as needed). If OK, check pin 6 of plug 3AG, should be 3 volts. If missing, replace 9-1055 board (or repair board as needed). If OK, check pin 1 of plug 3AG for 16 volts. If missing, replace 9-1047-01 (or repair board as needed).
Some of the C3 chassis fixes for dead set condition: Check or replace the following: C3407 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), CR3415 (14 volt zener), CX3432 (100 @ 100), and C3440 (3.3 @ 50).
Also,...I have the factory service lit. on this set. (Paper,..and micro-fitche). It is a C3B chassis, and the service Lit. is CM-147/C3(E), and (G). If you need it, let me know, and I will send it to you,....SNAIL mail (Monday A.M.) !!!!
Good luck, LLW

Set looks very cool, except it won't come on. I have no print (familiar?), so the going is rocky to say the least. All fuses check good, as well as the H.O.T. and all diodes as far as I can tell around the flyback and power supply areas. The relay doesn't even "click" when power is pressed. I can't find any burned areas around the pc board, so I decided to call the "cavalry". Any ideas are exceedingly grateful at this time.
