Sharp microwave R-508AK mfd-1998

Above unit belongs to my mother who lives in Detroit, where I am at now,
I had an earlier problem awhile back with the magnetron kept running
even when unit was off...

Fix Was: Stuck relay from power surge, removed outer relay housing
cleaned
carbon from contacts... BINGO....

Now current problem: Unit powers up but doesn't heat.

Little fuse type CES6 20Amp mounted to the metal shield was blown, I
temporarily replaced with 15Amp car fuse (all i had wasn't planning on
this). Anyway fuse doesn't blow but unit still no heat. Sticker inside
states when replacing that fuse to also replace monitor switch, which
i'm not sure which is monitor switch, All three switches that operate
via door opening & closing check fine. I am not in a very good
serviceable position working on her kitchen counter so please bear with
me.

There is what appears to be a relay on the front control panel board
lower left corner, the best i can make out any writing around this on
the board is

RY2/HB2/ACCOM & on component itself i can make out DU1PU. If i unplug
red wire going to this no changes, but unplug black wire total shut down
(obviously main ground..??) my meter reads up to 20 meg-ohm & unit
checks open but how can that be if when I lift the black wire i get
total shutdown, i'm wondering if this is my problem & also what switch
are they referring to when they say replace monitor switch along with
little fuse. One last thing the component (relay..??) i've been
referring to does have a slight melted spot in plastic housing (may be
my problem or from last problem with power surge) i'm returning home
friday 07/09/04 so i would like to try to fix this before i leave.

Any & All suggestions I would greatly appreciate. Thanks Group "joe"
