Fix: Me bad. I misread C4E4 ([EMAIL PROTECTED] for the cap at C4E5 a [EMAIL PROTECTED] By putting the correct value in at C4E4 Works great now. Old age & poor eyesight, I guess.
Make: Mitsubishi Model: CS3515R Sams: 3055 Note- not 100% vert circuit correct for this model. one cap shown in sch. missing on bd from factory. Problem: came in with no vertical. I now have vert sweep, but it does not fully fill the screen. The top 1.5-2" is black with retrace lines below that. I used QUALITY parts, all checked before I replaced them, and even subbed the known good quality vert IC with another good quality one. (From an entirely different source & batch --just in case) This one has me flummoxed! I have replaced the following : IC4E1- LA7838 C538 [EMAIL PROTECTED] C4E2 [EMAIL PROTECTED] C4e4 [EMAIL PROTECTED] C5J9 [EMAIL PROTECTED] C965 [EMAIL PROTECTED] C4F3 [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Q4A1 2SC2234 subbed with 2SC2235 Note 30V line to vert solid at 29.5VDC There are 2 bipolar elect caps that I ESR'd-- OK-- and one cap that shows elect in the schematic but is a 1 mfd mylar in the set. I have repaired several traces the "fish oil" has damaged and double checked that I put in the 'lytics with proper polarity. The set will slowly lose more vertical the longer its left on, predominantly from the top, but does pull up from the bottom too. What have I missed?? (Could this be a yoke problem?)
