Possibly fixed. This set ended up having many bad connections in the power
supply, especially on IC651. Even though they checked good, it was
recommended to replace all 4 switching transistors as a group on these power
supplies (Q601 - Q604). The final culprit was indeed IC651, The DM-44A power
module, Sony part number 1-809-524-11 which is NLA but I found a brand new
one I had in stock left over. The set is running but it now needs that test
over time.
