Friends,
I have this modem I want to install on my "newer" puter.
The modem is an ESS 56exv.x2 Ver. 3.43.
The driver program that I have, is broken up into 6 files.
They are labeled:
Oemsetup
Es1898.vxd
Esfm.drv
Essdc
Essmpu.drv
Es1898.drv

My question is:
Dose it make any difference in what order I copy these files to the 3-1/2"
floppy disk ?
I copied them in the order I listed them, but my new puter says the driver
program on the disk has NO identifing information to match the modem that is
installed. ( In other words, it says the program does NOT match the hardware
installed. )

I'm pretty sure it is the right driver files for this modem, but I can't get
the puter to install it. How can I make this disk work ? I can't come up
with the original manufacturer disk. These files were copied from a puter
that uses the same modem.

Any suggestions ?
LLW
