This Sony has a wierd problem with this Sony TV, I
have not seen before.
The picture has color and video..
but the video has lines in it..like sort of jail bars
but going side ways... Has anyone ever had this
problem

That certainly sounds like a bad jungle IC (IC301,
CXA1477AS, Sony part#
8-752-063-50) to me.
