Client is hiring a contractor to re-write the organizations Intranet to replace their legacy system. Primary technologies and functions they will be responsible for, and the right candidate will have experience with: *1. Plumtree portal framework* *2. C#.NET* *3. In comparison with the legacy site… create more efficiency, ease of navigation and overall site framework.* *4. Overall site security.* · This contractor will be responsible for, and own, the entire project start to finish but will have 3 local and 6 company-wide BTS employees with *Plumtree experience* to provide minor support. · There is not a certain SDLC methodology they utilize or expect candidates to have experience in. · QA and Testing will be very limited for this project so candidate must be comfortable with this. · The position is open due to lack of FTE bandwidth. · The Intranet will be used for clients (subsidiary WRB companies) to track project status, account management documents and HR data. · The project is initially approved for 6mos, but off the record, the manager feels it's a project that will run around 1yr. · Competition is Palmer Group and QCI. · Candidate will have client/end user interaction so appearance and strong face-to-face customer service ability is important. · He has not had much luck with candidates outside the local area but as a last resort would consider. · H-1 candidates can be considered but they prefer W-2. Client wants all submittals to be via email and will conduct a face-to-face interview. As long as the candidate has *Plumtree experience* he expects the interview to last 30min or less and the first week of February is the target start date.
