Job Summary: 
In this position, you will work with a team of Windows Server and Microsoft
Exchange engineers to deliver and maintain several migration and integration
initiatives. Work will include integration support activities as well as
migration and integration project work.  All work is in support of the
Active Directory Domain and Email migration and integration efforts.

  
Technical Responsibilities: 
Responsibilities include planning, installing, configuring, supporting, and
optimizing Exchange server systems, network connections and communication
links. Assist in all aspects of support, maintenance, and project based work
of several Active Directory Domain and Exchange 2003 integration and
migration efforts currently going on today.  Applicant should have strong
skills in Active Directory and Exchange 2003 and should have migration and
coexistence experience.  Experience with Quest Migration Manager for AD and
Exchange is preferred, but not a must.  Typical tasks range from
troubleshooting issues across environments, developing processes for support
of these interim environments, and participating on the migration and
integration project teams.  Project tasks include AD and Exchange design,
discovery, testing of migration scenarios, and actual migration deployment
tasks.

  
Experience Required: 
The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years experience supporting AD
Domains, Servers, and Exchange in a large corporate environment. This
individual must also have been involved in a large scale migration to
Exchange 2003 and/or merging of two companies' Domain and Email
infrastructure. Knowledge of industry best practices related to email
routing, filtering, monitoring, storage, backup and disaster recovery is
required. Microsoft certification is preferred. We also require excellent
people skills, enjoy dealing with people at all levels of the organization,
be customer service focused and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Specific Application Experience Needed:       
Windows Server 2000 & 2003, Exchange 5.5, 2000 & 2003 Active Directory, Iron
Mail, Symantec Mail Security for Exchange, Blackberry Enterprise Server,
Intellisync Server, Quest Migration Manager and other related tool sets. 

  
Specific Duties Include: 
.       Assist in all aspects of support and maintenance of several Active
Directory Domain and Exchange 2003 integration and migration efforts 

.       Implement changes that will optimize existing hardware and network
resources 
.       Monitor virus and spam filtering statistics and success rates. 
.       Resolve escalated email routing, connectivity and filtering support
issues. 
.       Participate in migration related project tasks including
architectural and configuration discussions. 
.       Document process and procedure for transition to Tier I and II
groups. 
.       Provide immediate support and be able to work independently to
identify support and process issues and provide resolutions 

.       Active Directory Domain support 
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
.       5-7 years experience supporting Microsoft Exchange in a large
Corporate environment 
.       5-7 years experience supporting Active Directory in a large
Corporate environment 
.       Participated in a large scale migrations and coexistence between
companies 
.       Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 
.       Experience working within large and complex technical environments. 
.       Exceptional customer support skills.
