In order to fully provide those services, an expert in Sybase ASE databases is required to assist in upgrading from ASE 12 to ASE 15. This includes implementing partitioning; optimize performance, updating any stored procedures or triggers that are required as a result of the upgrade, streamline operations, and document operating processes. Responsibilities include establishing base operating guidelines and best practices.
