Title:* Documentum Technical Architect*
Location:* Manhattan, New York*
Duration:* Six (6) + months *

Need candidates only from NY, NJ, CT or in PA no other state.

*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
He/she will lead and facilitate workshops to review requirements, define
business processes, gap analysis, functional design etc.
He/she will lead the design of solutions and monitor all the day-to-day
operational issues; lead testing of solutions; review and correct systems
and procedural errors, and other duties as may be required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related
field.
- *Minimum of five (7) years of experience in Information and
Communication Technology (ICT), including at least three (5) in EMC
Documentum projects *
- Extensive background in *Documentum implementation and integration in
the areas of Document Management, Digital Asset Management, Business Process
Management *
- Experience in developing *Documentum technical architecture*
- *Installation, configuration and troubleshooting Documentum products *
- Ability to work with *business users to explore and refine requirements
*
- Solid hands-on experience and expertise in the following:
- Requirements gathering and designing large scale *EMC
Documentum*content management systems.
- Applications development, installation and configuration of hardware
and Documentum software.
- *EMC Documentum (R6) architecture and design, development, and
deployment *
- *Java development using Documentum Foundation Classes, DQL, and API. *
- Integration with third party systems.
- Experience in design and implementation of monitoring, backup and high
availability solutions for Documentum
- Ability to design, modify and manage simple and complex workflows
- Ability to diagnose and correct Documentum problems (including
indexing, searching, poor performance)
- *Proficiency Documentum application design, security, performance
tuning and supporting IT infrastructure *
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Desirable Skills:
- *Experience in working in multi-cultural environments *
- *Knowledge of VMware infrastructure concepts and methodologies *
- Working knowledge of *Oracle and/or MS SQL DMBS *
