IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance to retain

Task Description:

The Investigative Data Analytics (IDA) project will provide the tool
for CI investigators to triage massive amount of heterogeneous data
pertinent to income tax fraud, money laundering and terrorist
activities. Currently, the data triage is achieved by laboriously
searching many separate databases including commercial information
sources such as Lexis/Nexis and Choicepoint. IDA will significantly
improve this by providing a single point of access to all publicly
available information needed by CI to pursue its investigations. IDA
will allow CI to query information extracted from a wide range of
sources, and identify patterns and relationships that might indicate
criminal activities. CI will use IDA to explore and generate leads,
and to develop evidence in support of criminal investigations.

Duties:
•      Search Tool Specialist will be responsible for implementing the
Autonomy Enterprise Search tool for searching across structured data.
This individual will be working at client location supporting the
installation, configuration and implementation of the Autonomy search
tool.  Primary responsibilities will also include designing and
developing search tools components and customizing the Autonomy
ASP.NET/C# User Interface using the search tool .NET APIs. Other key
responsibilities include documenting the design and configuration
parameters for the Autonomy search tool in the design specification
report. This person will also be responsible to work very closely with
the tool vendor staff and lead design sessions on security
integration, auditing, performance planning and indexing the
structured content.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

•       Perform Requirement analysis and develop specifications for designs
for metadata and search tool specifications. Create technical designs,
develop and Unit test for Autonomy Search Engine components
•       Working with Search tool vendor staff on design, prototype and
development effort
•       Integration of Search tool with SQL server 2005 based repository and
IBM EAS product using  SOAP based web services in ASP .NET environment
•       Understand the IRS-CI data and database structures in Microsoft SQL
Server and recommend database view designs for search tool indexing
•       Status reporting and communication within the team and customer
•       General knowledge of basic office software such as MS Office Suite
•       Experience implementing any enterprise search engine tool
