*Position Description*
The incumbent will be required to work with the team and the SSA customer to
recommend and justify database design and updates. In addition, the person
will need to work with the team of analysts and developers to ensure that
database changes being requested do not affect database performance in any
way. The person will also be involved in data conversion activities.

*Skills Requirements*
· Proficient in COBOL II, DB2, JCL/MVS, QMF, VSAM, MQ Series and
Logical & Physical Database Design.
· Required proficiency and experience in COBOL II, DB2, CICS,
JCL/MVS, QMF, TSO/ISPF, VSAM,)
· Experience in Endeavor, Expeditor, MQ Series, File aid and stored
procedures,
· Expertise in System Design and Full Project Lifecycle,Expertise in
Erwin, Visio
· Understanding of Requirements Definition process Provide support
to the development team during the design, development, and testing
processesExperience in Logical & Physical Database Design,
(Required)Familiarity with RequisitePro, Quality Center and MKS.Experience
with consulting to Federal agencies.
· Experience with Section 508 compliance.
*Education & Certifications*
· Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of
professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a
related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
