Who can Apply: U.S. citizens and H-1Bs accepted Job Location: Tallahassee, FL 32399 Job Duration: 6 months with a possible 1 year extension Rate Range: $45 Job Description: The primary role of the Data Modeler/Business Analyst is identification of data requirements and the design, creation, and management of logical and physical data models of the target databases. This resource will be responsible for the development of logical dimensional models for data cubes requiring the use of de-normalized physical database schemas in the form of star schemas or more complex federated schemas, based on conformed dimensions across the data identified and the data existing in the EMSTARS data base. Overall responsibilities include extracting and interpreting business rules (business processes, business entities, etc.) from the customer, designing the associated model, and the creation of all required documentation to support, communicate, and validate the data model. This position will also be responsible for models conforming to the strategic goals of the organization and should have appropriate supporting documentation (entity relationship diagrams - ERDs, business process diagrams, process flow diagrams, metadata, etc.) for each data model.
