Please respond to [email protected] Position: Informatica/Teradata Architect with Healthcare Background Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 6+ Months Rate: BEST RATE (Keep it ALAP) Job Description: The Database/Scalable Datawarehouse Consultant is one of several customer-facing roles performed by our client's Professional Services organization that focuses on delivering data warehouse solutions to customers. Provides in-depth technical needs analysis, advice, and technical support regarding database configuration and utilization issues. Responsible for designing database query specifications, database implementation, performance tuning administration and security. Some have data modeling and data mining skills. Typically engage in post-sale delivery activities, but may participate in pre-sale activities directly with customers. Works with relationship database technology in an application development environment (Teradata, DB2, Oracle and Informix) and data sourcing tools (Visual Basic, PowerBuilder). A senior level position that typically leads engagement planning and execution of client consulting projects and helps secure new engagements. Requires technical degree in computer science with a database concentration or related discipline, and 8 to 10 years related experience.; We are in need of an ETL Architect/Leader with in-depth Informatica knowledge with a background in the Healthcare Industry. The opportunity is located in Dallas Texas area, start date is in 2-4 weeks with 6 month duration. The responsibilities include: - Overall Design and Development for ETL processes with multiple sources and a Teradata 3NF target. This is "hands on" work. - Define and lead a POC effort to move data real time using IBM Data Mirror for data extraction and Informatica for data population. - Communication with management of ETL progress, risks, risk mitigation, project planning, etc - Leadership, guidance, and mentoring for a team of 3-5 ETL team members. This may include some testing and development work.
