The candidate will work within the Emerging Markets (EM) IT team
based in New York, which is responsible for delivering a new
initiative to build the strategic risk system and facilitate the
elimination of spreadsheets by developing a robust, high performance
solution for intra-day and end-of-day processing. The implementation
will be based on a scalable, open architecture platform that the
Interest Rate Products (IRP) technology recently developed.

The team works within a distributed development model to enhance the
platform to suit EM needs while leveraging enhancements made by the

spreadsheets), interacting with other teams in the bank (Risk
Measurement and Management, Product Control, Global Modeling and
Analytics, etc), design and specification work in addition to
software development. The candidate will be responsible for the
development of the software and infrastructure and will work with the
peer development teams in IRP IT to design, enhance, and implement the
various components of the system. Attributes needed to perform
successfully in the project include attention to detail, a
willingness to take ownership of issues, enthusiasm, enterprise
application development experience using EMS and C#, experience
writing efficient enterprise-ready code, and knowledge of fixed
income markets and products.

This is a senior development role and as such the candidate will be
required to work without direct supervision while still adhering to
agreed upon project specifications and timelines.
