Title: Network Engineer

Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
Worker will be responsible for installing networking technologies and
supporting networks. Assesses existing network configurations and makes
recommendations based on product specifications. Configures equipment
and software to meet customer business needs, trains others on the
solution, and documents the solution for ongoing support. Functions as
part of a team on larger projects, or individually provides the services
on support visits or smaller projects. Provides technical support and
assists with the design of network solutions. Job requires experience in
the technical services and support field as well as experience in
network administration (DHCP, DNS, routers, firewall, etc.).
The essential job requirements for the Workers are:
* Assist in the maintenance, and support of local and wide area
networking environments to include telecom circuits and associated
hardware
* Evaluate existing network configurations and make enhancement
recommendations based on design and product specifications.
* Lead or assist in the planning/design of future data center
deployments
* Function as part of a team on larger projects, or individually
provide technical services and support
* Prepare and analyze statistics on network utilization and
availability
* Maintain updated network drawings of comprehensive network
environment
* Other duties as assigned.

Experience configuring and utilizing network monitoring software to
ensure network availability to all system users

Experience and demonstrated ability to trouble shoot operational and
architecture bottlenecks and developing solutions

Experience in evaluating LAN & WAN bandwidth requirements and proposing
properly sized switch interfaces and telecom circuits
5+
Experience deploying, supporting and testing disaster recovery scenarios
5+
Demonstrated ability to work with telecom vendors in regards to network
fault isolation

Key skill set categories required include:
* Experience in network administration (DHCP, DNS, routers,
firewall etc.).
* experience developing security processes for complex enterprise
environment
* Knowledgeable in a variety of remote support tools
* experience configuring Cisco network switches, routers, servers
and firewalls

Demonstrated ability to interact with business users from a service
delivery and service support perspective.

Demonstrated ability to develop business solutions based on an
understanding of next generation data center technology
