Looking for someone who has worked crunching numbers and analyzing data more than implementing programs. Skills: Ability to accurately translate diverse business information needs into reporting and ad-hoc analysis, perform QA, and communicate status to stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Word, and SAS. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, problem solving, and project management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, succinct terms. Educational and Background Requirements: BA/BS degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related field. MBA highly desirable (Pre-MBA or recent graduate from an MBA program) 5+ years experience working as a business analyst in market research/database marketing, analytics, business intelligence, and/or technology. Healthcare experience required, ideally in drug distribution. Previous experience working with data from IMS, Wolters Kluwer and Verispan highly preferred.
