Please send profiles to [email protected] Position: Security Admin with Mainframe Location: Philadelphia Duration: 6 months Rate: $43 an hour Description: • Analyze Mainframe/Unix Manual Security Administration Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) within Security Operations and identify opportunities where automation (scripting) can be implemented to improve operational efficiency and where feasible, eliminate manual processing. • Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify the variables that need to be inputted into the various tools/systems to complete security administration and provisioning requests. • Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify alternatives to SOPs such as batch processes that can eliminate the need for human intervention. An example would be where we would move to exception processing versus the manual processing every request. • Design, code, test and implement automated scripts to reduce or eliminate the manual effort involved with processing security access requests. • Where SOPs are replaced with batch scripts, work with IT Operations to incorporate batch scripts into the workload scheduling system. • Prepare documentation that outlines the functionality of each of the automated scripts and how to use them. • Where applicable, train staff to use automated scripts to complete their service requests. • Provide user support for automated script as needed. SKILLS >> • Able to analyze existing security administration processes and identify opportunities for improving operational efficiencies, including either automating the current SOP or completely rewriting it into a batch process. • Able to design, code and implement system-level automated scripts. • Capable of working with a diverse group of stakeholders, performing detailed analysis and training. • Must be a self-starter that is motivated to deliver quality solutions. • Candidates must have strong technical and development skills and, a passion for technology.
