Job Title: Sr. C# Programmer with Win forms/GUI Exp Location: New York City, NY Duration: 6+ Months Contract Role & Key Responsibilities: We're looking to add a senior flow & exotic rates trade processing senior manager to our Rates technology team. This person will be responsible for trading systems, STP, and trade processing management for rates products. The ideal candidate has been doing this job successfully for at least ten years in or near the front office in a top-tier investment bank, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong experience at managing the improvement of STP rates within previous roles is a key requirement. Strong rates product experience, strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a strong ability to manage complex technology change programs are required. This position involves close coordination with the Rates traders and TMG staff on the trading floor; therefore strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. As this is a very complex system and business, strong teamwork skills is a must. Key Requirements: . Rates flow and exotics trade capture and processing knowledge . Front office-related investment bank experience managing multiple teams and projects Technical skills: . Adept at several programming (C++, C#, Java) but some flexibility on the specific languages . Excel spreadsheet and macro programming knowledge is very useful . Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills . Strong database skills. Knowledge of non-relational databases a plus. . Experience with UNIX and trade desktop technologies Business Skills . Strong Flow and exotic rates product knowledge. . Ability to multi-task and balance project work within highly demanding environment . Flexibility in reacting to changing client requirements and priorities . Strong interaction skills with senior trading heads . Proven track record on improving STP rates in previous roles Experience . Experience in programming solutions for complex financial problems . Experience with Summit is a plus Educational Background: . Degree level qualification in a computing based subject . Top-tier schools only MUST be well versed in C#, GUI, and Winforms. Also, must have recent experience with and be well versed in Interest rates products with a concentration in flow & exotic rates trade processing.
