Sr. Rules Developer:
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Pls specifies your no: of years of exp.

* A minimum of 8 years of experience development for large-scale
enterprise applications including:
* At least 4 years of experience in Java/J2EE;
* At least 3 years of experience developing
applications using rules engine technologies, such as Fair Isaac
Blaze (preferred) or ILog;
* At least 3 years of professional experience
performing business rules analysis and development;
* Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and Web Service
development;
* Strong knowledge of XML Technologies (XML, XSL, XSD);
* Knowledge of Spring and Hibernate;
* Experience with relational databases preferably Oracle;
* Strong Knowledge of BEA Weblogic, UNIX, Solaris, and Linux;
* Novell LDAP knowledge;
* Ability to produce technical documentation;
* Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability
to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a
team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources;
* Must take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker and show
confidence in decisions made;
* Must be able to take strategic direction from executive
management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout
the lifetime of the project;
* Must be able to see tasks through to completion without
significant guidance.
* Must be able to provide documentation on their work.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
* A Bachelors or Masters degree in MIS, Computer Science, or
equivalent experience is desired;
* Knowledge of National Information Exchange Methodology (NIEM)
* Experience in Content Management Systems such as Interwoven
Teamsite or Documentum;
* Knowledge of Portals preferably Vignette Application Portal;
* Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis
methodologies; Working knowledge of business analysis documentation
standards;
Sr. Rules Developer responsibilities:
* Participate in development of systems design; this includes
specifying the component packaged and custom applications, class
diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.
* Manage, support, maintain, enhance and create business rules
applications and other web components for enterprise system.
* Work directly with users to define business rules and processes.
* Communicating risks and issues to project management
* Coding and designing application
* Using best practices for development
* Perform unit testing and fixes during testing Phase
* Create/document deployment procedures
* Create/document operational procedures
The resources will be responsible for the following deliverables:
* All documentation regarding system design
* Detailed System Architecture Diagram
* Data-flow Diagram
* Class Diagrams
* Activity and State Diagrams
* Component Diagrams
* Deployment Diagrams
* Configurations
* Build and unit tested modules for the system
* Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team
