Position : Project Control Analyst/Co-ordianator Location : Charlotte, NC Duration : 5+ month Rate : $DOE Required Skills: . Needs application development background with experience scheduling and facilitating a MS project. . Needs excellent communication skills. . Must has 7-9 years experience work in conjunction with multiple Project Managers using a standard process to plan, monitor, and re-plan several new and ongoing Power Delivery IT projects. . Working knowledge of CAPM from PMI and knowledge of DMAIC and/or Six Sigma. . Includes creates, managing project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and all related project documentation with a goal of accuracy and efficiency. . This position will be responsible for facilitating Planning and Re-planning workshops with the project team to drive the project WBS, the project activities and their logical order. . Information gathering & formatting for presentation to senior executives. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint. . Facilitation includes delving for activity predecessors and successors, encouraging participation from all team members, and helping the project team arrange their project activities in a logical order with crucial relationships, milestones, and interdependencies identified. . Will also involve analyzing the project plan and the critical path with the IT Project Manager to determine how to adjust the schedule in response to date, scope, and resource changes or other issues. . Also involves creating and updating multiple project plans in Microsoft Project 2007 and creating advanced reports using Microsoft Project 2007.
